Baby Boy V's Nursery

It's been over two years since we moved back into our new/old house and we're now getting ready to welcome a new addition to the family! Baby V is scheduled to arrive around Christmas Day and as we get closer and closer to the due date, we've been furiously getting ready for his arrival. I had a lot of fun searching for the perfect accessories and I knew that once he arrived, I wasn't going to want to put forth the effort to put it together. Once we know his name, I'll get some additional art work for the walls.

Here are a few photos of the room with sources listed out. I had a hard time finding inspiration boy's room and I hope someone out there will find this useful. My hope is that this is a room he can grow into.

Christmas Tree

Yes, that's a puzzle on the island. Here are the stools I purchased from Ballard Designs.

I swear that there are a ton of ornaments on the tree...Notice the awesome tree skirt my mom made.

We purchased the Elfa closet system at The Container Store - money well spent
Love how the master bathroom turned out.

Sneak Peak Part 2

Powder room
Living room. Hard to believe that this space was once two rooms!
I'm not ready for the final unveiling of the kitchen, but here's a look at the fridge, oven and advantium. The upper cabinet knobs are actually clear glass but they pick up the color of ORB backing and color of the cabinets.

The Finish Line

I was looking through old posts and came across the post where I talk about what I'm looking forward to.

I can't believe it's been over a year since I wrote that post and here we are getting ready to move back in. Amazing how time flies. I'm pleased to report that my hope that all goes well came true. We came in over budget, but except for the deck railings that needed to be replaced because of the material a previous contractor used, our price increases were our choice.

Here is an updated list of what I'm looking forward to.

* Having friends and family over

* Light and lots of it

* A/C

* Double sinks in the master bath

* Second floor laundry. It took some convincing to get me to agree and I'm still paranoid about the vibration but there are solutions out there to address that problem

* A walk in closet - the Elfa system was money well spent

The list could go on and on
